In Loving Memory of Tha-yeng

Our Uncle Tha-yeng Roy Yang (46) was the goofiest, funniest and kindest uncle we were so lucky to have. Although he had no children of his own, he was a father figure to all 34 of his nieces and nephews. Tha-yeng was admitted to the hospital on November 22, 2020 due to COVID 19. His health was improving and he was finally released from the ICU however, 2 days later, his kidneys began to fail and his lungs gave out. Tha-yeng passed away on December 11th, 2020. He left us calmly and was fortunate enough to have his mom and brothers around him during his last moments. His passing has devastated his whole family.
Being first generation kids, our parents were constantly working hard to provide for us and were not always around. We were lucky enough to have the best uncles to babysit and spoil us, not just on birthdays and holidays, but almost every day. He bought us our first iphones, took us to the movie theaters, taught us cards, sang karaoke, played board games, Guitar Hero, and charades with us. Tha-yeng played a huge part in giving us a dreamlike childhood. He helped us become who we are today from our music and movie choices to our humor and appreciation for family. Tha-yeng was there for us throughout our whole lives growing up and we, his nieces and nephews, have always wanted to repay him for the relentless joys and laughter he gave us. It is heartbreaking for us to know that we no longer have that opportunity. He was selfless and had unconditional love for each and every one of us.
We understand it has been a hard year for everyone, if you are able to help donate, the funds will go towards his funeral expenses. No amount of money can help ease the pain of losing our uncle however it will greatly help lift the financial stress off our family. We are so thankful for your help.
