Hi, my name is Aaron, and I’m 20 years old from London. I’m reaching out to you today because I’m facing one of the hardest challenges of my life, and I need your help.

I am a transgender man, and for as long as I can remember, I’ve known that I was born in the wrong body and was meant to live as a man. However, coming from a strictly religious family, they couldn’t accept me for who I am. When I finally found the courage to come out to my parents, I was met with rejection. They told me they could no longer support me, and they kicked me out of the house, leaving me homeless and alone.

Since then, I’ve been struggling to survive in one of the most expensive cities not only in the UK but also in the world. With no family support, I’ve had to figure everything out on my own. I found a place to stay and started working multiple temporary part-time jobs, but it’s been difficult just to get by. I’m constantly battling feelings of isolation and despair, and the worst part of all is the daily reminder that my body doesn’t reflect who I truly am.

The pain of dysphoria, feeling like my body isn’t mine... is something I live with every single day. I’ve been dreaming of the moment when I can finally undergo gender-affirming surgery, which would help me align my body with my identity and allow me to feel at peace with myself. I am asking for your help because I simply cannot afford the surgery on my own.

I’m asking for £16,000 to cover the costs mastectomy, hysterectomy and phalloplasty that will help me begin my transition. The emotional and physical toll that not being able to live authentically takes on me is overwhelming. This surgery isn’t just about my appearance: it’s about feeling like I finally belong in my own skin. It’s about finally being able to look in the mirror and see the person I know I am.
