As many of you have heard, Willie Vang (Director of the Minnesota Heat Basketball Program) was diagnosed last week with Stage 4 Medullary Thyroid Cancer.
Anyone who has had the opportunity to cross paths with Willie knows the incredible impact that he continues to have in the lives of thousands of people in the community.
Cancer costs an average of $712 a month in out-of-pocket expenses for those who have health insurance. These out-of-pocket expenses include things like co-pays, travel to and from treatment and prescriptions. Like most people, they are unprepared to handle this kind of expense on their own.
