Dear Dog Lovers,
My name is Thomas Farrell, I am a member of Boy Scout Troop 110 here in Fort Smith at Central Presbyterian Church. I am a Life scout and working on my Eagle Scout Project - the final step in becoming an Eagle Scout.
In consulation with my troop, fellow users of the dog park, my parents, the Fort Smith Parks commission, and Fort Smith Airport Authority I would like to undertake a project to enhance our dog park for all the users.
This is my idea and what has been approved...
1. Constructing a Double Sided Bulletin Board - Posting information relevant to park users (Upcoming events/Lost and Found/5K's/Humane Society/Important numbers).
2. Constructing Two Dog Play Sets (Imagine a Backyard Swing set) for both the small and large dog areas.
3. Movable Dog Agility course component (for both large and small dog areas)

Teeter Totter
Tire Jump (adjustable)
I am contributing $250 for the project and my parents are also contributing $250 for the project. Whether I can precede with building components 1 and 2 above will depend upon my Fund Raising effort. I have worked with an engineer and Lowes and believe I need to raise $2000.00 to complete 1 and 2. The $500 from me and my parents will cover component 3.

June - Construction
Anyway I wanted to let you know what was in the works and any monetary contribution would be helpful.
