While we are taking seriously the health of our community, both audiences and artists, and monitoring the developments of the coronavirus, we are trying to keep our heads above water.
501(c)3 charitable theatre companies like ours are heavily impacted by challenges like this pandemic. With the loss of our audiences comes the loss of our financial safety. Please consider donating to our COVID-19 Relief Fund, which helps to alleviate the financial hit our small business is taking due to the pandemic.
In the meantime, we are dedicated to bringing you a broad range of inspiring artistic content online and (hopefully) in-person during the run of our 20-21 season.

Sweet Tea Shakespeare seeks to celebrate the wonder of Shakespeare’s inventions of language, story, and stagecraft by providing simple, elemental, magical theatre experiences of his and other remarkable works in an accessible atmosphere of beauty and community.
All STS productions align with our mission to provide simple, elemental, accessible theatre to an audience of every age and theatrical background.
Our performances are produced specifically to appeal to a varied audience of both Shakespeare fans and newcomers alike including those who would not otherwise give Shakespeare-based theatre a chance.
Most importantly, we provide accessible, come-as-you-are performances of quality literature in quality ways. We have moderately priced tickets, including special rates for students. We pay artists at a growing rate. We involve artists from a variety of socio-economic and other backgrounds, including members of the military, military dependents, and DOD employees.
