Hi, my name is Quell and I am raising money for my Bible Ministry which was started by me and my friend, Sarah. After becoming well aware on many different occasions of how many people my age don't & never owned their own personal bible, I was led to share a post on my instagram page of over 6k followers to ask my peers if they had any prayer request or needed a bible. The response was incredible! So many wanted a bible and for me to pray for them. Then it began. We have been buying stacks of bibles and shipping them to various places, but mostly inner city New Orleans. Because so many people look at the bible as being boring and most never know where to start when they get one, we would high-light scripture that we believe would minister to them according to their prayer request; also we would leave sticky notes throughout the bible explaining the scripture with words of encouragement. Not only that, but we pray over every single bible, in hopes that it would spark a flame for Christ in the hearts of the poeple who recieve them.
We've recieved so many great responses from people who are falling in love with the word of God. God has exceeded all our expectations for this ministry! However, because the response is so great & bibles are so expensive, we are asking for donations to keep this ministry going. We are looking to raise $3,000 to purchase large bulks of bibles, shipping supplies, and all the tools needed to highlight & encourage. Also, this will help us launch our Bible Ministry (non-profit) website that will help us generate funds to keep this ministry going & growing. Your support will help kingdom build! Every dollar will go towards a bible that will be prayed over and sent to someone who has never owned their own personal bible. We believe these bibles will move our generation to come to know Christ in a new, personal, authentic, and genuine way. Every dollar counts! Thanks in advance.
