Ivers 17th Annual Food Drive

Dear Friends: I just wanted to take a moment to ask for your help again.   I know I reached out to many of you last year.  If you could help again this year that would be tremendous.  We have been doing this Turkey Bowl for 17 years.   We started the food drive about 12 years ago and raised money through gift baskets now about five years.  Those of you who know me, I really get excited about this.  Here is what this small event has raised over the last 16 years:

*Over 500 bags of food we have donated to the PADS Shelter for the Homeless.
*Over $8,000 we have raised and donated to many charties.  Here are a few we have donated to:

*Salute Inc.
*Safe Haven
*Greater Northern Illinois Food Bank
*Journey from PADS to Hope
*Muldowney Foundation
*Maddonna Mission
*Meals on Wheels
*Friends of the Orphans
*Wounded Warriors

We sell  tickets for gift baskets and obtain money as well through Go Fund Me. 

We are all blessed and thankful for what we have.  This is a great way we try to give something back to all these great charities.   I was overwhelmed with the support I received last year---I can't thank you enough.

If you can help out, that would be appreciated.  If you can come to our event, it is Thanksgiving Morning as it has been for the last 16 years.
