Hi, my name is Michelle. I am 51 years old. I have been married for 16 years and have 4 children, ages 16 to 31. I am a Program Supervisor and work with the youth.

This year, on my birthday, I was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma. Needless to say I was terrified. I have been through Chemo and Radiation. There were times I didn’t know whether I would make it through one day to the next, because of the agonizing pain. Thankfully, I have been Blessed to be a candidate for a Stem Cell Transplant in Baltimore, MD. Depending on my progress, once I have been released from the hospital, I will need to remain in Baltimore for up to a month. I will need to return to the hospital on a daily basis.

For this very reason, I am requesting funding for assistance with medical bills and accommodations for my family and caregivers.
