Please support our friend Mandy. Amanda Wood is a 34-year-old single mother to Brayden, who is 11 years old. Mandy has been fighting Sarcoma Cancer for 5 years now. She has had a total of 7 surgeries and is currently undergoing Chemotherapy.
Mandy became septic last week and spent 2 days in the ICU at Affinity Medical center. As her condition continued to detoriate, the doctors made the decision to life flight her to a cancer specialty hospital: "The James" in Columbus, OH on November 29. Since that time, and with intensive around the clock treatment, she has shown signs of improvement and is now able to sit up. Her mom says: “ She’s starting to act like herself again". Although she's doing better Mandy is still in a crucial state, and has a long road to recovery with intensive treatment, and continued Chemotherapy.
Mandy has not been able to work in over 2 months. And Since her hospital admission, her mother Kathy Mason has not left her side. Kathy has missed many days of work as well. The medical expenses, among other daily living expenses, continue to increase for this family.
We would like to relieve some stress and reduce the finical burden from Mandy and her family.
