Hope for Hannah

I want to tell you about my niece, Hannah. She's a beautiful 11-year old girl. She does great in school. She loves sports. She is active in her church. She is the typical 11-year old girl.

But now her world has been shattered. Hannah lost her father on March 7th. As with all little girls, she adored her daddy. Now he's gone.

Hannah will now be raised by my parents who are now in their late 60s.

My sister, Heather, and I want to start a small fund for Hannah's future. We want her to know this is not the end of her world. We want her to see beyond the immediacy of today's loss and pain. We want her to see this huge circle of friends and family that are here for her. We want her to know she is not alone.

I will set up an account for any and all donations and over time the funds will be used to help her with college or a simple head start in life once she is grown.
