Fruitbat’s FIP Fund
Donation protected
This is Fruitbat. His favourite food is chicken, he loves to play with a ratty old Halloween themed mouse toy, and he likes to be carried around like a baby. He is gentle hearted, snuggly, and loves his big brother Jack. He also has the mousiest little baby meow you’ll ever hear. If you met him, you’d love him.
He was diagnosed with FIP March 27, 2024. Feline infectious peritonitis (FIP) is a viral disease of cats and it used to be a death sentence. There is a treatment now called GS-441524 and it is very expensive on top of continuous bloodwork and vet monitoring over 84 days. This treatment involves daily injections which we had to learn how to do.
Though we don’t have much, Morgan and I have blown through our savings just to reach diagnosis, and are drawing from a deficit to provide our sweet boy with this life saving treatment.
Things are hard right now, emotionally, and financially. We need help to get through this and anything donated will mean the absolute world to us. It doesn’t matter how much or how little you can help, we will be so grateful for anything. Everything will go directly to Fruitbat’s treatment.
Help save our boy!
