Carin for Karen

Alright troops... Karen needs our love, prayers and support.  As we all know, this beautiful, giving, dog loving  human is fierce and has the strength of a lioness but right now she needs all of us to band together to help her overcome this current obstacle.
Karen’s blood pressure became a issue on Saturday while at work and was being taken to Patient First when she had a seizure. While in transit to the ER, Karen had another seizure and was hospitalized right away.
It was then discovered that she had a stroke and a blood vessel had broken near the area in the brain that helps with speech.
Karen was sedated and placed on a respirator so she could rest, have tests run and to keep the seizures under control.
Last night, Karen underwent surgery. They went in to remove excess blood that was putting pressure on her brain and making it harder for recovery. The fighter that she is, the surgery was successful and the clot was removed.
Karen is still sedated and intubated but they are hoping that on Wednesday, they will be able to start waking her up. The doctors will know more once that is successful but do not know how long the process will be.
Karen needs her warriors right now to love and support her but also to help with financial responsibilities.
I set the bar high for this goal but she has a lot of people that love her. Let’s see what we are capable of when we lock arms for those we love❤️
P.S. We can’t forget that the pups need us too.
