Hey Y’all! I’m taking part in the #thefrontstepsproject, doing my part to help those kids in need and giving you a memory you can look back on and be thankful for what we have during these times.
I will be taking pictures in the 75248 area (please contact me if you live outside this area, in hopes I can make it over to you)! Don’t worry.. I’ll stand 6 feet away!
I will send you 1-2 digital copies, and all I ask from you is to donate to DCAC or my gofundmepage. I will be sharing your beautiful family photos via Instagram and Facebook-- hoping to brighten other people's day and raise money for an amazing charity.
My sessions will start Tuesday, March 24th. Message me your email and if you want between 10-11 AM or 5-6 pm.
More information about Dallas Children's Advocacy Center (Dcac): The mission of the Dallas Children's Advocacy Center is to improve the lives of abused children in Dallas County and to provide national leadership on child abuse issues. DCAC coordinates the investigation and prosecution of the most severe cases of child abuse in Dallas County. Last year, DCAC served more than 7,300 children (and their non-offending family members) who were sexually abused, severely physically abused, or who had witnessed a violent crime. Our average client is a 9-10 year-old girl, sexually abused by someone she knows and trusts. DCAC houses the Child Abuse Unit of the Dallas Police Department, six units of CPS, and an Assistant District Attorney. Having all of these professionals under one roof drives collaboration and communication in the very sensitive cases that DCAC coordinates. DCAC has 32 partners including 27 law enforcement agencies in Dallas County, Children’s Health, the Dallas County District Attorney’s Office, the Dallas County Southwestern Institute for Forensic Services, the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services (Child Protective Services, Child Care Licensing, Adult Protective Services), and the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas Department of Pediatrics.
