Animal Sanctuary Advocacy

Over the years,  my client has taken in homeless animals who face many challenges including physical disabilities and behavioral problems due to severe trauma.  Currently, among the many animals in her sanctuary,  one of her kitties has Cerebellar Hypoplasia, another kitty is FIV positive, one of her dogs has heart damage and another dog, her heart,  is suffering from  possible renal disease.  The funds to properly diagnose and then treat this disease are not currently available and it is truly breaking her heart.

We are asking for your help on their behalf.  

For various reasons, due to the physical or emotional trauma they have experienced,  the animals she cares for would not otherwise be adopted out to another family.  It is her mission to give them a home where they can be safe and fed and loved until the end of their days.

In order to accommodate the needs of these animals she cares for, she has had to provide a larger space/home than she would ordinarily need for just herself.   This has significantly increased her monthly cost of heating and air conditioning for the changing seasons, in addition to the food and medicine required to sustain the sanctuary.  Unfortunately, the fixed income she receives has been barely enough to cover her own basic needs.  She is also facing issues of safe transportation (an aging, deteriorating vehicle) for when the animals require more care than she can provide from local veterinary practitioners.

These animals are her whole world and she is in urgent need of some help to continue this mission.  We are hopeful that friends, family, and colleagues would be willing to express their support and compassion for her situation by donating to her sanctuary.
