A year ago, running a mile felt impossible. However, I’m now preparing to run the world-famous London Marathon—a challenge I never thought I’d take on, and I’m doing it for a cause I deeply believe in: partnering with the SeeNepal Foundation.

Joining the Runderbolts, a Nepali-based running community, was a turning point. This inspiring and supportive group guided me from zero to marathon-ready. They showed me the transformative power of running—not just for physical health, but for building resilience and community. Every step I’ve taken with them has brought me closer to understanding the spirit of Nepal and its people: determined, hopeful, and united.

A few years ago, I visited Nepal—a country that left a profound impact on me. Its breathtaking landscapes, vibrant culture, and the warm hospitality of its people touched my soul. But my visit also opened my eyes to the challenges many communities face: lack of access to education, healthcare, and opportunities that many of us take for granted.

SeeNepal works tirelessly to address these challenges. The organization not only delivers critical eye healthcare but also raises awareness about preventing sight loss and the common causes of blindness. With a team of experienced optometrists, dispensing opticians, and healthcare professionals, SeeNepal is making vision accessible where it’s needed most. For many in rural areas, simple interventions like glasses or cataract surgery can mean the difference between independence and hardship.

Running 26.2 miles is daunting, but it’s nothing compared to the challenges faced by those living without access to basic healthcare. With your support, we can help SeeNepal bring life-changing eye care to those who need it most.
