<div>Since I was a child, I’ve watched my mom dedicate her life to rescuing stray animals. She has always opened her heart and her home to stray animals, saving them from hunger, suffering, and even death.

<div>In recent years, she created something truly beautiful: <em>The Garden of Hope</em>. It’s not just a shelter – it’s a sanctuary for senior dogs that no one wants do adopt. These are the old, sick, and blind dogs who are usually forgotten. The ones left behind. She gives them a safe place to spend their final months or years surrounded by love, care, and dignity.

<div>She gives these dogs the love and dignity they deserve in their final months or years. She takes them to the vet, gives them their medications, feeds them, and makes sure they feel safe and cared for—often for the first time in their lives.

<div>But running this sanctuary is hard. Veterinary care, medications, food, and cleaning supplies add up quickly, and she has been carrying all these costs alone. She never asks for anything for herself, but now she needs help to continue this mission.

<div>She has been doing everything on her own, but the costs have become overwhelming, and the only way she can continue to save these lives is with outside help.

São levados ao veterinário, recebem os seus medicamentos, são alimentados e cuidados, muitas vezes pela primeira vez na vida.  Porém, gerir este santuário está a ser difícil. Os cuidados veterinários, os medicamentos, a comida e os produtos de limpeza têm um custo elevado.  Embora ela tenha conseguido lidar com tudo sozinha até agora, os custos estão a tornar-se insustentáveis.  E a única forma de continuar a salvar vidas é com a ajuda de outras pessoas.  É uma mulher que nunca pede nada para si, mas agora precisa de ajuda para continuar esta missão.
