<div>Hi My name is Alimatu Sangari-Sammarie. I am raising funds for Touch of Grace, Inc , a non profit Organization that is dedicated to Supporting Children with Type 1 Diabetes in Sierra Leone and Beyond

</div>
<div>Three years ago, our world changed forever.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>My son was only 11 years old when he got COVID-19. We thought he would recover quickly — but something unexpected and frightening happened. Soon after, he began losing weight, feeling constantly tired and thirsty. When we rushed him to Children’s National Hospital in Washington, D.C., we learned that his blood sugar (HgA1C) was almost 14 — dangerously high. The doctors told us he was moments away from slipping into a diabetic coma.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>That was the day our family entered the world of Type 1 Diabetes (T1D) — a world filled with insulin injections, blood sugar checks, and sleepless nights. My son is now 14, and every single meal requires insulin.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>No one in our family had diabetes. His diagnosis came out of nowhere. And like so many parents, I was heartbroken and scared. But through the journey, God gave us a new purpose; we founded the Children's Diabetes Program, established through our non profit organisation called Touch Of Grace Inc. We are dedicated to helping children and families affected by type 1 diabetes both in the Sierra Leone and around the world.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Our Mission: *Turning Pain Into Purpose*
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Our goals are simple but powerful:
</div>
<div>Help families afford insulin and essential diabetes supplies
</div>
<div>Provide education about managing Type 1 Diabetes
</div>
<div>❤️ Support blood sugar monitoring through donated equipment
</div>
<div>Build a teaching hospital in Sierra Leone, West Africa, where children can receive proper care and ongoing support
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>In January, our team will travel to Sierra Leone on a medical mission trip. There, we’ll meet children and families living with Type 1 Diabetes — many of whom struggle to access insulin or even understand how to manage their condition.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>In Sierra Leone, a diagnosis of Type 1 Diabetes can be devastating simply because insulin is too expensive or unavailable.
</div>
<div>We want to change that.
</div>
<div>---*Giving Hope This Holiday Season*
</div>
<div>This Giving Tuesday and Christmas season, we invite you to partner with us in bringing hope, education, and life-saving insulin to children who desperately need it.
</div>
<div>Your donation will help:
</div>
<div>Purchase insulin and supplies for children in Sierra Leone
</div>
<div>Support the construction of our teaching hospital with a specialized Diabetic unit for Children.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Empower families with education and care resources
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Continue our work helping children with T1D here in the U.S.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Every gift — no matter the size — makes a difference.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Together, we can turn one family’s story of fear into a story of faith, strength, and healing for countless others.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Please donate today and help us bring life and hope to children living with Type 1 Diabetes.
</div>
<div>Thank you for your continued prayers, partnership, and faithfulness. Together, we are touching lives, one act of grace at a time.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>With love and gratitude,
</div>
