<div>I  volunteered at one of our local food pantries, and unfortunately it had to close. So many families were affected by this close including myself who also rely on food assistance. That’s where we come in.

<div>I’m starting Food Ministries of Hilo Hawaii to serve struggling families by donating food-filled bags and hosting monthly community days for children and families.

<div>Right now, I’m building this nonprofit from the ground up — mostly from my phone.

<div>I’m asking for help to raise $1,500 as a start-up to cover:
