This is Jakub. He is 16 and he fought leukemia twice. It wasn’t easy for him, it lasted for long 6 years, but the older he was, the more he wanted to live and chase his dreams. In the worst times, his only hope was, that this can’t be the end and if he wants to change the world, he just needs hope and more time.
He was lucky, had amazing doctors, support from his family and incredible support from people all over his country, who helped him to get over those times. He love physics, mathematics and he is passionate about universe. Last September he applied for the prestigious Westbourne School in UK. To get there, he needed the help of people with big hearth from Slovakia, who helped him with live his dream once again. Today he is studying at the school and he is unstoppable. Everyday he is catching up on his dreams after all those lost years.
He likes to study and he is pleased to study because he is so driven by the goal that once he will be beneficial for humanity. He is in the middle of his Pre-IB year and to finish it, he needs 11.000€. He firmly believes that even beyond the borders of Slovakia, there are people with big heart wiling to help.
