Help Me Support Students in Lankouvi, Togo with School Supplies

Hello! My name is Nabila Saam, and I’m the founder of Holy Ground Projects, a youth-centered initiative that empowers communities through education and healthcare. While I'm in the process of officially registering my nonprofit, I'm launching this fundraiser to support a cause very close to my heart.

The project’s goal is simple: to provide school supplies for students in Lankouvi, Togo, the small town where I grew up.

The picture you see above is a younger version of me, about nine years ago, wearing my school uniform in Lankouvi. By supporting this fundraiser, you are helping children like young me, students full of dreams but limited by circumstances.

Why This Matters

In Togo, many parents struggle to afford even the most basic school supplies for their children. Items like notebooks, pens, backpacks, and uniforms can be the difference between staying in school or dropping out. For students in K–12, these supplies are not just tools; they are hope.

Your donation will go directly toward purchasing and donating these essential materials to students before the start of the school year in September.

A Personal Note

I created Holy Ground Projects because I believe every child deserves a fair shot at education, no matter where they’re born. As someone who once walked in their shoes with big dreams and little resources, I know firsthand how meaningful even the smallest act of generosity can be.

While I’m still in the early stages of registering my nonprofit (which currently prevents me from applying for grants), your support right now will help me get this project off the ground.
