After a 4 year relationship, I was left stranded and financially drained. I was mistreated and verbally abused. I’m stuck in an unsafe home with no heat, air conditioning and floors that are caving in. I was looking forward to a better future with the man I was supposed to marry. But it was ripped away abruptly when he decided I was no longer useful or worth anything to him. I’m now struggling to pick up the pieces. I have no money. I was left with substantial debt because of this man. And I can’t leave without help. I have a destination and a chance to have peace and happiness.

I’m terrified. Starting over with nothing. I don’t have parents. After telling my story on Facebook, I was told that what I was experiencing was domestic abuse. Without help, I’ll be stuck here and could end up completely homeless.

I never like to ask for help. But I’m completely desperate. Anything helps!
