<div>Hello, my name is Yevgene and I am the mother to a beautiful young woman named Nyela. As a single parent, our journey on this earth as mother and daughter has been nothing short of heartbreaking. Our lives were forever changed on the terrifying day of April 15th, 2013 when one of the two bombs from the Boston Bombing went off just 30 feet outside the door to my job. For an hour or more amid the chaos, my daughter thought I was gone, but by some miracle I am still here.

<div>Fast forward to today, we both have been diagnosed with CPSD, which is an extremely difficult reality that we have been navigating every single day. The effects of all the trauma that we have endured have very much affected both of us but especially Nyela over the past few years. Each year, as the holidays approach, she has experienced a mental health crisis and has been hospitalized three times in the past three years because she was at risk of wanting to end her life. As Nyela’s Mom, my heart has been shattered witnessing my only child grapple with feelings of hopelessness and wondering if fighting to live another day is even worth it.

<div>As you can imagine, this has taken a great toll on me emotionally and financially, and I cannot even afford an apartment at this time because my financial outlook is so dire. She is the tether that keeps me here and vice versa because of the strength of the love and bond that we share. I am now in the position where I need to ask for help. I have fallen very behind on financial obligations and I am barely staying afloat working from paycheck to paycheck. Having to humble myself and get real about how dire our situation is and ask for financial help is not easy, but I assure you this is not a situation that I can just work my way out of. <strong>I need a miracle.</strong>
