Hiiiii my weirdo's!! Im Ashley. I'm an overly friendly, kinda cooky, equally spooky, tattoo artist from Manchester with abit of a peculiar story...

If you've found me from my socials then you probably already know atleast some of the chapters, but just incase, allow me to explain why I've created a Gofundme;

Long story short, I'm going Blind.

Im one of the youngest people in the UK to be diagnosed with Diabetic Retinopathy. Ive been receiving treatments on and off for the lasglt 4-5 years (courses of injections into my eyes every 4 weeks alongside intense laser surgeries) I dont know how long the treatments will work, and neither do the "specialists". I might have a year, I might have 5, or 10, WHO KNOWS. But what I DO know, is that, as horrific as the whole experience has been, its given me a new outlook on life, and I know in my soul that I HAVE to make the most of whatever time I have.

I never knew I had a purpose untill now. I always really wanted to do something meaningful, something that would still have an effect once I'm gone. But the self doubt that had been embedded into me over the years, always managed to convince me I simply never could. Up untill around 5 weeks ago; something inside me snapped. All because I had to cut ties with someone I presumed would be in my life for the remainder of it. I was hurt, and for a split second, I wanted to cause hurt. Then, it hit me like a tonne of bricks - I could either choose to go out and cause the same pain that id felt, or I could go and choose to do the exact fucking opposite. I could choose to heal instead of hurt. I could choose kindness over cruelty, niceness over nastiness, and thats exact what I did.

I finally realised my purpose. I finally have something to leave behind when im gone - i can spend every single day I'm on this big weird floating rock, making DAYM SURE that there is WAY more love and kindness here than there was when I first arrived. I can make sure that each and every one of YOU, never ever EVER feels the way I've been made to feel. I want us all to feel valued, loved, seen and heard, and that's exactly what FROM BONES TO ASHES is about.

But I cant do this next part on my own - Ive once again had to take some unexpected time away from tattooing due to my eyes needing more treatments, but I cant allow that to hold me back, I simply cannot afford to waste any time.

My aim & my message is to get EVERYBODY to understand what a profound affect a random 5 second moment of kindness can have. Because you might not know it in the moment, but you can literally change someones entire mood or mindset, or you could even save their life, just by being kind.

Ive recently been going out on "random kindness walks" and not only is it massively improving my own MH, but to have so many of you lovely people reach out to me to tell me how its improving your MH, just by watching my videos & listening to what I say... that is something I NEVER would have expected. But It's breaking my heart that I'm only getting to show you 10% of the interactions im having with people out in public, simply bc im in a constant battle for storage on my phone or I feel way too rude whipping my phone out half way through a conversation. So, here's where the Gofundme comes in. If I can gather the funds for a body cam & a pair of meta glasses, that means I can show you the genuine, authentic reactions from people & you can really see JUST how much your 5 seconds of kindness can affect someone.

Its still fucking wild to me that im even setting up these channels, and by wild I mean UNBELIEVABLY BEAUTIFUL. The support and love ive received already is just insane.

And this isnt all there is.

The bodycam/glasses will allow me to capture more interactions, which will help to spread the message, which will bring more people to the channels im creating, which will then help to fund FROM BONES TO ASH hoodies and goodies, which will THENNNN help to fund the events and meet ups I will eventually be hosting!!!

This is JUST the start. Im SO FUCKING EXCITED to see where this is gonna go and I am SO HONOURED to have you here with me for the journey

LOVE YOU ALL!!
