<div>What was meant to be one of the happiest days of our lives turned into one of the hardest. Our mom and two younger sisters were on their way to the hospital to help welcome mom’s first grandchild and our family’s first nephew when they were involved in a serious car accident.

<div>Despite being injured herself, my youngest sister jumped into action and called 911. All three were rushed from our local hospital to UC Davis Medical Center due to the severity of their injuries.

<div>Our mom has been the sole provider for the household and now my dad will have to step into the caregiver role while being homebound and on long term disability himself. He is now the primary caregiver for all three while they heal. To safely bring them home and support recovery, we must make essential medical and accessibility improvements, including:
