Our lives have been changed forever. On the 17th September 2018, our husband, father, son, brother, brother in law, uncle and cousin died in his sleep while on a weekend break with his precious family.
The life we knew is shattered. Frith and Aidan have lost their rock, their love and their security. Their world has been changed forever. As their family, this is just so painful to watch.
So many of you have asked how you can help. We have been so grateful for the meals, kind words, help, support and flowers that we have received during this time. However as we move forward, and while we wait for things to become settled, it is becoming apparent that financially things could be tough. We would very much like to raise some money to assist Frith in getting through the coming months, when there is no normal. There are mortgages to be paid, household bills ... to name a few. A daily nightmare.
As most young families do, when a new baby is born, one parent normally puts their career on hold, which is what Frith has done. She currently only works part time, and this was their wish for Aidan's early years. Frith and Andrew's focus in Aidan's early years has been to provide him with a loving and stable environment where he had opportunities to spend really important time with both his parents. Sadly this is no longer the case, as Andrew is no longer with us. It would be his dream to allow her to continue to do this into the future.
We are so grateful for the generosity already shown. In fact on many occasions it has reduced us to tears. Small kind gestures have made dealing with the impossible, bearable.
