Our aim is to raise £7000 for a brave, beautiful little girl called Ellie.
Ellie was born three months premature. She has profound disabilities that have forced her to overcome obstacles in her life that most of us could not imagine.
Her movement is restricted, Ellie struggles to communicate and interact with the world around her, although this never dampens her spirit!
Ground breaking advancements in communication technology have made it possible for Ellie to be able to learn how to communicate with the people who care for her using, 'Eyegaze.'
It is a very real possibility that one day Ellie will be able to greet her Mum and Dad and communicate with them to describe how she thinks and feels.
With the assistance of Eyegaze technology, Ellie will not only be able to show affection and communicate her feelings, she could communicate with Doctors and other specialists, potentially improving the treatment of not only herself, and other people with conditions similar to hers.
The Eyegaze Edge is an eye-operated communication and control system that empowers people with disabilities to communicate and interact with the world.
