Friends With Hearts Hamilton 2021

Here we are again. Year 11!!! Eleven years of helping kids in Hamilton experience Christmas. Wild to even think we've been doing it for this long now but we get more and more motivated each year to try and help as many as possible.

Words cannot even come close to express how thankful we are for the amount of money and gifts we were able to raise last year. When all was said and done, we ended up raising $42,364 where every single cent went to the families and approx $6000 in gifts. It was a crazy year for us all and especially those kids in need.

The world is still not back to normal and with so many still out of work, I can just imagine that the need this year is still the same. We will work our hardest to help the kids in our backyard during this holiday season.

For those new to what Friends With Hearts is, in short, we fundraise to help bring Christmas to kids in need. This Hamilton group is partnered with Good Shepherd in Hamilton which helps us distribute gifts to the kids and families under their wing. I believe every child deserves at least one toy under the tree on Christmas morning but we also make sure life necessities are taken care of, ie: winter coats/boots, school supplies, clothing, hygiene products, food gift cards, etc.
