A local Issaquah/Preston family of 4 & their hound dog recently suffered the loss of their family home of 14 years due to the current weather related devastation in the Snoqualmie Valley.
With all the recent rain, the Raging River migrated closer towards the house, causing the land to be unstable, sloughing off pieces of the high bank which caused the home to become uninhabitable.
Insurance isn't covering any of the loss and FEMA hasn't been initiated in the area so they are in need of our help! They are needing to find a new place to live, hopefully in the Issaquah area, so their 2 girls can continue in the same school and activities. If you have any leads on housing or can provide financial assistance it would be greatly appreciated.
