Friends of the koala

Hello friends,
my birthday is coming around and I wanted to use this chance to raise a bit of coin for a cause I feel very strongly about.
Over the past year I’ve had the joy of volunteering for a group called friends of the koala which focuses on rehabilitation of koalas in the hope that they can increase the population and ultimately prevent these amazing creatures from becoming extinct.
its a sad fact that koalas are becoming closer to extinction every year and could become this reality within our life time. I want to be part of A cause that fights for the right reason and for future preservation of this animal and I hope that by reading this, it could encourage people to do what they can for causes like this whether it be koala or any animal in need.
They need help more than ever after a devastating summer last year that wiped out approximately 60,000 koalas which could have lowered the population to as low as 43,000 left in the wild. This contributing to the the already enormous struggle of fighting against deforestation and numerous illnesses.
If you’ve ever felt like giving me a birthday present nows the time. Any donation helps To give food, treatments, development of enclosures, rehabilitation needs and much more, literally every dollar counts. I’ll be personally donating $100 as I’m going to try and do each year.
if you don’t want to donate to this specific group there are numerous others out there and if you are unable to spend money but you have the time, I can’t endorse volunteering enough, it’s a very fulfilling hobby and it’s for an amazing reason. if you would like any help with applying to volunteer please hit me up!!
