Friends of Robert Schnurmacher

Robert S. is an amazing friend, family member, business owner, and community leader. As a new franchisee, whenever I needed help, Robert and Wendy reached out. And trust me that was often in the first year of business. We’ve both had our share of health issues and I feel connected to them with that & Wendy being a Jersey Girl.

I was shocked to learn that Robert has a rare aggressive form of Leukemia attacking his body. He has had kidney failure and been in and out of the hospital for the last few weeks.  Now instead of focusing on reopening his center and doing summer camps, he will have to focus on rest and chemotherapy, stem cell treatment and lord knows what else. These types of treatments are very expensive. Hospital visits are long. Rob also has a family to support. 

How can we as a collective help? By providing some financial cushion, we can help ease the burden from the family.  Maybe provide a warm meal after treatments so they don't have to worry about cooking. I encourage every Zee to please contribute, if you can. Every little amount adds up. In such a dark time, we can be a beacon of light.

This collection will not be posted publicly in the GoFundMe search. It is a way for us to privately collect a small amount amongst each other. All funds collected will be sent directly to Wendy, Rob's wife and they can use it as they see fit.
