Robert Stein, an I.A.T.S.E. Local 52 grip and good friend, sustained an injury while at work that left him with a broken Tibia and Fibula, just below the knee.
All of his surgeries where a success and he is expected to make a full recovery over the next few months. We are looking to help Robert and his wife Miranda in these trying times.
A little about Rob: Robert was born in Hawaii (a long, long time ago - only joking!) to the parents of Chinese and German descent. His family moved to the states when he was a young boy and there was no stopping him. An avid rock climber in Colorado, Air Force Veteran, mastering guitar and harmonica somewhere along the way - he is full of life.
Moving East he got work as a stagehand in Atlantic City, working for some of the biggest names in show business and then settled in NYC to became a Local 52 member, working on movies and hit TV shows.
