Hello friends of Kathy Holbrook. Kathy's apartment was completely flooded with several feet of water Sunday. She had to be taken from the area by boat. Needless to say she has no doubt lost everything. It appears that insurance WILL NOT cover the loss of the contents of her apartment OR cover her car. If we could all donate $25 to this GoFundMe account for Kathy that would at least be a start for her to begin get up and going again. Kathy will be provided with the information to access this account.
For any of you who may not know Kathy, she works for the Bellaire Police Department in the Records Division. She previously worked for the Houston Police Department.
The ones of us who have created this account are members of a group of "Retired and Former Bellaire Police Employees". Many of our group worked in the 70s and 80s with Kathy's husband Jack Holbrook. Jack was a long time motorcycle officer with the Bellaire Police Department until he passed away several years ago.
Whatever we can do to help Kathy I'm sure will be sincerely appreciated. Kathy is the kind of person that would definitely do the same for us.
