Friends Of Janet Aitchison

Hi, we are Chris & Lisa, we are raising funds for our dear friend Janet Aitchison.

Jan is a wonderful, loving and caring person, but most important, she is a fighter. Having previously dealt with Breast Cancer, that eventually led to a Double Mastectomy, Jan is now facing the inevitable that the cancer may have possibly spread to her lungs.

Due to the numerous medications Jan must take, she unexpectedly became dizzy and recently took a fall. Unfortunately, the fall was severe, resulting in a shattered wrist & shoulder. She has already undergone extensive corrective surgery and now must deal with the plates and screws that hold the joints together for the rest of her life. Hopefully this will repair the damage, however she will require months of intense physiotherapy that is not covered by her Health Insurance. Her Doctors do not expect her to be able to return to work for a minimum of 9 months, with the possibility of never being able to return to work as a Bartender, her beloved profession.

We are hoping to raise $50,000 to help Jan through these trying times in her life. The funds raised will be used to ensure she can get through the next 9 - 12 months, without worrying about finances.
