Friends of Irene Yelvington

Dear Mission Viejo Country Club Members, Friends and Family,
It is with a heavy heart that we must break the sad news that our beloved co-worker and friend, Irene Yelvington has been diagnosed with a very rare form of breast cancer. Irene has been part of MVCC family for over 22 years and has served in many capacities at the Club, including her current role as our Catering Director.  
Irene has been married to her husband Jerry for 21 years and they share two beautiful children, Jake who is 12 years old and Evalyn who is 6 years old.
Irene will begin her chemo treatments on March 19th, and they are expected to last up to 4 months. After treatments she will then face surgeries to remove the tumors. Irene most likely will not be working during this time and will require help financially as she fights this battle of her life. Irene and her family will most likely start incurring costs related to her medical needs, such as insurance deductables, specialized medications, child care expenses and other related costs. It is our goal to help relieve most of the financial burdens for Irene and her family ensuring she focuses only on fighting this battle.
We are asking for any donations, small or large, everything makes a difference!!
