Friends of Erin

In the middle of the night, armed men wearing bandanas broke into Erin's apartment and woke her from a sleep.  At gunpoint, they stole her phone, her wallet, her TV, jewelry, and basically everything of any value in her home.  They also stole her sense of security.  They left her alone on her couch, in her pillaged apartment, without a phone or way to call for help.  They told her not to call 911, and to stay put.  She did, and after minutes of suffocating fear, they CAME BACK to check to make sure she was still where they told her to be.  Then they stole her car.

As many of you know, Erin works at a non-profit community garden teaching environmental education to children.  Non profit work pays a meager salary, so she also has to work part time at a restaurant to supplement her labor of love.  She is one of the hardest working, most generous people I know.  She's one of the good ones.  How do I know?  Just an hour after the robbery, Erin was making a list of the things that WEREN'T STOLEN from her.  She is my glass half full sister.

Erin has insurance, which will help with the large items on her to do list, such as replacing her car.  However, in the days and weeks to come, she will have many expenses that are not covered by insurance (changing locks, replacing IDs, insurance deductibles, etc.).  Please help me to fill up the other half of Erin's glass.  If you are not able to give money at this time, please send her a text, card, or prayer.  I want us to surround her with love right now.
