Friends of Dru

D ru is a member of our Aberdeen team. He is our club bartender extraordinaire but so much more. He details cars, babysits pets, works home parties, does handyman chores, does moving and cleanup and hurricane prep all in his free time to pay his bills in caring for his wife and son.
Dru has been hospitalized since October 2nd and has just found out that he has a tumor on his femur which must be removed. He now travels to Miami for treatment and surgery and further treatment and rehab. No work, no pay. With hospital bills accumulating quickly and daily living expenses not being paid, we need to reach out and help Dru with his excess bills that insurance won't cover as well as taking care of rent, and everyday costs we all have.
We live within a generous, caring society.... Please give what you can to help Dru to focus on his rough road to recovery.
I am Miriam Hanan, a member of our Aberdeen community. It will be my job to make sure that Dru will have the  money necessary to pay his large deductible so he can handle the rest.
Dru will be presented with a personal check from me made payable to him or to his medical provider, whichever he prefers and the check is representative of all of his friends' donations  who are wishing him success in his surgery next Friday.
We wish him well with a successful out come.
