Friends of City Electric Supply

Now that the initial shock has mostly worn off and those of us who were fortunate/lucky enough to have escaped relatively unscathed, it is time for us to get to work and help our community rebuild.  As an integral part of the construction trade, obviously in particular, the electrical industry, I felt like the most meaningful way for us to help our community rebuild was to start with and  focus on those who are in our industry, namely electrical contractors who are not included in the "fortunate/lucky" group myself and our entire team at City Electric Supply in Santa Rosa ended up part of.  My understanding is that 14 contractors of the local 551 lost everything.  There are also a number of non-union contractors affected.  So far there are 12 of our closest customers that we would like to help in part of their rebuilding process.  While they are in transition and before benefits and insurances kick in, there are immediate needs of cash and gift cards.
We are also reaching out to vendors and manufacturers to assist with getting tools of the trade supplied to ease that burden and allow them to earn a living.  Please help in any way you can.  This is my hometown.  I grew up here and am raising my kids here.  My friends' homes were lost.  My friends' parents homes were lost.  It's the least we can do.
