Friends of Cameron Wilson

Cameron Wilson was an amazing and vibrant 8-year old boy who was in the 4th grade and loved attending school. He was diagnosed with both autism and asthma from a very young age. However, neither of this diagnoses could slow him down! He was always so full of energy and loved to bounce and move around. Cameron was an inquisitive and helpful student who genuinely cared about the children and adults who surrounded him. Sadly, on September 15, 2018, Cameron unexpectedly passed away after suffering a severe asthma attack. His family and friends are completely devastated. We are asking for donations to assist his family at this time.

The individuals who started this page are teachers and related service providers for Cameron at his elementary school. We chose to start a campaign because we wanted to be able to help Cameron's family with any financial costs that were incurred during this time. We also hoped that the family might be able to use the money for a vacation or a memorial service where the remaining members of Cameron's family could gather to celebrate his life. Cameron touched so many lives at our school and many members of our organization were looking for a way to assist the family. Our school is housed in 8 separate locations around NYC and individuals from each site inquired how to donate. At the request of Cameron's mother, we plan to make Robin Wilson, Cameron's aunt and his mother's sister an added beneficiary. She will then give the money to Katrina Wilson.
