Friends in Need Following Stroke

Donation protected
Hello Everyone, I have created this page on behalf of friends of ours, Bob and Nit Waldron, who have been so kind and generous to Lynn and I and everyone they meet. They give and sacrifice much of their own in order to share with others.  Bob is a veteran of our armed forces who served our country and survived experiences few can imagine. His wife Nit is from Thailand and she is a very spirited woman who has shared so much with us and everyone she meets.  They are both so humble and I believe don't get recognized enough for all they have done for so many others over their lifetime.  We want to respect their privacy but we also want everyone to understand that there are things in life that happen which are beyond our control and are almost impossible solve on our own as individuals. That being said, It is up to us to recognize those conditions and together help people to overcome what they can't overcome on their own.  I know this might make Bob and Nit feel very uncomfortable that I'm doing this because they are so humble and reluctant to accept any assistance from others.  This past Sunday evening Nit suffered from a stroke and is currently recovering in the ICU.  She is lucid and responsive but struggles with her speech and is mostly paralyzed on her left side.  Life had it's hardships for them before this happened, but now those hardships appear even more overwhelming  in light of Nit's current condition.  I am aware of the significant need that they are in but I'm not sure if they would ever provide a figure for what all exactly that they might require.  I am posting a goal of $2,000. Whatever amount any of you feel in your heart to give, will go towards Nit's medical and rehabilitation expenses and help to cover their daily living expenses as well.  Any other assistance, thoughts or prayers will also be appreciated greatly.  No matter what you believe in life, I would like to say that all of our lives have a special meaning and purpose and that no one should have to suffer in silence and isolation.  These are feelings that Bob and Nit are struggling to overcome right now.  For any other questions or comments, please feel free to contact me and I will respond as soon as I able.
Thank you all so much for your kindness and consideration.
