Friends Helping Jenn In Her Battle With Cancer

Jenn Luke was diagnosed with breast cancer on July 6th.  This diagnosis came as a shock and came as she was just starting a new business venture.  Jenn has been a community advocate and leader in the Town of Shrewsbury for fifteen years and currently serves as the PTO President at Sherwood/Oak middle schools in Shrewsbury and a Cub Scout Leader.  She is also a town meeting member in Shrewsbury and she runs the Shrewsbury Moms Facebook page.  As a social worker of 20 years, Jenn dedicates her free time to helping everyone else and their children and she is a tireless advocate for all those that cannot advocate for themselves and specializes in foster to adoption cases.  

Now is our turn to support Jenn in her time of need.  Jenn will have surgery in the next few weeks and the recovery time is 4-6 weeks.  She is going to have many medical expenses and doctor bills not covered by insurance and she is going to miss work and have to take unpaid time off.  We want Jenn to focus solely on her rest and recovery and not have to worry about bills and food, etc.  For those who know Jenn, you know she hates to ask for assistance, but yet she has dedicated her entire life to assisting others.  Now is our time to pay it forward and support Jenn and her two beautiful children.
