Friends for Hard Times

This girl needs our help! This is Camilla my third year internal medicine resident. She has had a really tough hand dealt to her in the past 36hrs. The story is too long to tell in detail but she travelled to Columbia, MO to take her certifying exam to complete her residency. Approximately 17 hours prior to the start of her exam she was notified the testing center would be closed due to the threat of bad weather. She was faced with two options, get to Dallas, Texas from Columbia, MO in 17hrs in good enough shape to take an incredibly tough exam that will shape her future career or forego the exam for a year after studying full time for 6wks and forego many possible jobs that require having passed the exam. She didn't curl into the fetal position and give up she went for it and made it to Dallas to take her exam today. Sadly the plane ticket, hotel expenses, shuttle rides, etc. have cost her over $1200. Anyone who doesn't know, residents live on a very very minimal salary and this kind of expense could put tremendous hardship on her! I wish I could pay it all but since I can't I'm reaching out to you, her friends and asking you to give what you can. I am confident together we can show our friend how much we care about her and support her! Please help however you are able!
