It is with deep sadness that we announce the loss of Maricela Calderon. Maricela passed away on April 9, 2018 at only 33 years young. She was a true warrior and a light for all. She survived a heart transplant 10 years ago and always enjoyed helping others before she would help herself. She was a loving mother to her 4 year old son and a loving wife. This is a huge loss to everyone that had the blessing of meeting her. She had a very kind and charismatic soul and will forever be missed.
My family and I started this gofundme page with the permission of Mauricio Calderon (her husband) with the intentions to assist with any costs he may endure during this difficult time (i.e. medical, memorial, and time lost from work). On behalf of Mauricio Calderon, his family and friends are personally working with him to ensure all the expenses are covered and to assist with the financial hardships in hopes that this will provide him with time and space needed to grieve the loss of his wife and mother of their child. All proceeds will be directly accessible to the family. Any support given would be greatly appreciated. No amount is too small. Thank you.
