Friend in Abusive House

A friend of mine is currently in an abusive situation that is rapidly getting worse. We desperately need to get them and the child out of the living situation and across state borders to ensure the abusers are not able to continue their treatment. I do fear, from growing threats, that physical harm will soon be coming to them.

All money saved from this fundraiser will be used for a plane ticket to get me to them, a U-HAUL to move what they have, and anything left over will go towards getting them and the child situated (diapers, food, etc).

I need for them to remain anonymous as the abusers will act if they find out. I cannot post pictures or names at this time to ensure their safety. We are working on getting them into temporary housing at the moment until the money is saved, which must also remain secret. I am adding to this in my own savings as well in an attempt to expedite getting them to safety.

My friend and their child are at risk remaining in this environment. They are unable to get a job as the abusers threaten them every attempt they get. Please, please, please help to get them out. I need to relocate them to ensure their safety.
