Michelle Melancon Dunkins attended Bishop Lynch in late 80's and has taught at BL since 2002. She has enriched the lives of many many students and been a friend to many BL staff and faculty. Additionally, she was the Boys Varsity Asst. Soccer Coach where she assisted he brother, Mark Melancon, in building a successful and state championship winning soccer program. She was not just a teacher but a friend to the many students and players she taught and coached over the years. Michelle leaves behind her husband Patrick as well.
Her passing was not expected nor planned. Her family are currently trying to handle the funeral and expenses associated with her passing. This is where the Friar Nation can help. Please consider a donation to help the family with these expenses. She gave so much of herself, now we can show her how much she was appreciated. All proceeds will go the Dunkins and Melancon families.
