My name is James Stewart. Last Friday, 2/21 my fiance and I brought our 2 year old lab Freya to the vet for what we thought was a leg injury from playing with our other dog. Following the xrays at Palmer Veterinary, it was discovered that it was not an injury, it was a tumor that is suspected to be osteosarcoma. We then sought a second opinion which confirmed the diagnosis. Tomorrow, 2/25, Freya will undergo a front leg amputation and a treatment plan will be decided. Follow up care to give her the best shot at survival would include chemotherapy. Freya, even in the pain she is in now, continues to be a happy girl and tries to play as much as possible. This is devastating news for our family. We would appreciate any help we can get. Thank you.
