FRENCHY THE BATTLER CHARITY FOOTBALL DAY ⚽️♋️
Hi My name is Darren Balshaw, I’ve been a lifelong friend of Frenchy since meeting him in year 7 at secondary school nearly 30 years ago and went on to play football against and alongside of for the best part of 25 years and in that time he has become one of my best and loyalist friends.
Frenchy is a devoted family man to his wife Jenna and his two girls Ellie & Amelia and is just genuinely one of the nicest guys you could ever meet.
He's been one hell of a battler on the football pitch every single season for the last 25 years and with everything he’s been faced with in recent months he’s proving that he’s one hell of a battler off the pitch too so I would like to do my bit as a friend in helping to raise as much cash as possible in hope that Gaz and Jenna can go private to find Gaz the treatment that he desperately needs with him being so poorly.
We are organising a charity football day for him on 5th September with all his past and present teams/team mates coming back together to play a day of football for him to come and enjoy….This will be at Stoneclough pitch @11am kick off which will last around 4 hours and will also have a few stalls where we will be raising more money on the day….Please bring kids, family and friends as it’s a day for everyone to come and enjoy!
