Adopt A Scotts Valley Senior

Please help us to provide much needed resources for lonely, isolated senior citizens in the Scotts Valley area, during this critical time of need.  We are expanding our Senior Care Package program beyond our continuing collaboration with the Scotts Valley Unified Schools.

There are senior citizens who are afraid to leave their homes. We can help them. We are compiling a list of volunteer shoppers and drivers.

The team here at Scotts Valley Senior Life Association (SVSLA), a 501(c)3 non-profit, is working with other local nonprofits to do these three things:
(1) identify those most in need, in a private, caring, respectful way, (2) determine their specific needs, and (3) deliver those resources in safe manner.

It costs money to do this. SVSLA is completely volunteer. But we do have expenses, as do all of the other organizations we work with:
Valley Churches United Food Pantry and Disaster Assistance, Community Bridges Meals on Wheels, and Grey Bears Bag Lunch Program.
Our aim is to boost their efforts, not compete with them. You may designate donations to one of these groups, if you choose to do so.

Donations go toward: emergency food, household and personal items, gas for deliveries, gas vouchers for seniors, pet food, propane, and more.
