My name is Henning Gembalies, I have been a resident of Grand Bahama for almost 20 years. My good friends Andre Butler, Jennie Hall and I are organizing this support drive.
Hurricane Dorian struck and my heart bleeds for my friends and family. I decided to go to Florida and purchase whatever is needed and will ship it to Grand Bahama and give it to the people who really need it.
As we all seen the stories on social media that donated stuff dont get to the people.
Every Dollar counts! Two of my employees lost everything and i been helping them personally to get some clothes and a place to stay.
People are homeless and out of everything. I personally lost my house and business, but I am not worried about myself, I want to help others, as I still have a place to live. We have already sent smaller shipments to Grand Bahama using our personal money, but we need to send more, so open your hearts and pockets and
LETS MAKE A DIFFERENCE FOR PEOPLE WHO LOST IT ALL!!!
We will need tents, generators, tarps, building materials, food, water, clothing and much more. I have friends and family gathering info on what is really needed and we will be purchasing based on what is most needed.
We will ship item which we will purchasing in florida with the donations 9/25 to freeport via Baleria Express. The following day we will start giving out the purchased goods to the people who most needed.
100% of these donations will go to residents of Grand Bahama and hopefully we can put smiles back on the people faces. God Bless everyone that will donate, any amount counts.
