Operation: Slightly Better Winter

Operation Slightly Better Winter is on a mission to raise $7,000 by October 20th in hopes of making 250 homeless families winters slightly better, and we need your help!

 It’s heartbreaking to learn that the number of homeless people in the Bay Area, is at an all-time high. San Francisco alone populates 7,499 homeless people and of those 1,363 are children. Their only shelter from the rains are the highway underpasses which have no effect on the stinging cold.

 Freenome employees will divide up in squads and hit the streets of San Francisco on October 27th with 250 Care Packages. We’ll pass out backpacks filled with warm clothing (gloves, scarves, beanies, socks, tarps etc.) necessary to survive a cold and rainy winter. We’ll also provide a warm meal, coffee, and toys for the children.

 Your support is key to making sure we accomplish this. Our motto at Freenome is teamwork makes the dreamwork! So let’s come together as a team to give back to those who need us most. Help us help our community.
