Freedom Fighters DC Supplies & Mutual Aid Fund

Freedom Fighters DC is anti-racist organization that serves the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. In addition to organizing anti-racism based actions, FFDC also spends the lion's share of it's time serving the D.C. community by hosting educational workshops and performing mutual aid multiple times a week.
We are soliciting funds to help sustain our mutual aid work as well as provide our team with the necessary equipment needed to sustain our frontline safety, including, but not limited to, safe house arrangements, rental vehicles for supplies, water and snacks for protestors, PPE, and more.
Mutual aid provides direct, hand to hand aid in underserved communities and also allows us to provide cash grants to those in need.
Funds used for mutual aid go towards providing the unhoused community with tents, sleeping bags, hygiene products, insolation, clothing, and warm food. We also provide cash grants to those at risk of losing their housing, energy bill assistance, and those in need of groceries.
Additionally, we provide weekly hot meal service every Wednesday in a different quadrant of the city each week to ensure all areas of the District are provided with hot food, and access to cold weather and hygiene items.
Now more than ever we are requesting support from the community as the political climate and COVID19 crisis continue to grow, and the community's needs expand daily.
